Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a dedicated Gastroenterologist to join our Faculty Gastroenterology Group in a primarily outpatient role at our Clifton, NJ practice. Successful candidates will have a passion for clinical and academic excellence and a commitment to outstanding patient care.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Outpatient-focused role with minimal inpatient call.

  • Monday - Friday schedule in a multispecialty practice with strong referral support from HMH Primary Care, Executive Health, and specialists in dermatology, nephrology, pulmonology, rheumatology, and cardiology.

  • Join a dynamic network of experienced physicians, specialists, and support staff who foster a culture of collaboration with strong clinical support.

  • Eligibility for faculty appointment to the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • M.D./D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology

  • Obtain or the ability to obtain a New Jersey Medical License

  • Both experienced physicians and new fellowship graduates welcome to apply


COMPENSATION:

Starting Base Salary: $376,443

Productivity: Levels of productivity, quality and patient satisfaction.

Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in relevant skills and competencies.

Geographic Location: Cost of living and market rates for the specific location.

Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub-specialty.

Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
