Orthopedic Surgeon - Sports Medicine Needed in Southwest Dallas

Join our growing Orthopedic team in Southwest Dallas! We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Orthopedic Surgeon - Sports Medicine physician to join our team and provide exceptional care to our expanding patient base.

Located just south of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, southwest Dallas is known for its excellent version of the Hill Country, offering outdoor recreation and family-friendly neighborhoods, and a community-oriented lifestyle.

Methodist Charlton Medical Center opened in 1975 and is a trusted healthcare and teaching hospital for the people of Southern Dallas County. The facility is a Level III trauma center and has a state-of-the-art surgical suite with seven operating rooms, two Da Vinci Robots, and a new and expanded ED, which opened in the Fall of 2022. Responsibilities:

• Provide full-scope general orthopedic practice, including: surgical and non-surgical care for bones, joint injuries, fractures, tendon and ligament injuries and arthroscopies
• Focus on upper extremities, preferred
• Perform patient exams, establish diagnoses, and develop personalized treatment plans
• Order necessary imaging and educate patients on various musculoskeletal prevention and treatments
• Collaborate with our team on continuous quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Experienced physicians and Fellows are welcome to apply!
• Must be board certified
• Familiarity with EPIC medical records (preferred)
• Robotic surgery training (preferred)
