The Boise Veterans Affairs Medical Center seeks an advanced practice provider (nurse practitioner or physician assistant) to join our growing, collegial, and multi-disciplinary team in Salmon, ID. Our primary care team is comprised of 10 outpatient clinics, with five clinics collocated in our Boise Medical Center and five stand alone community/satellite clinics. Opportunity information:

  1. Provide primary care for a panel of patients via in person care, with some virtual care at our Salmon community based outreach clinic (CBOC).
  2. Provider is supported by an RN, an LPN/MA and a receptionist dedicated to their panel.
  3. Patients are seen in 30 min appointments, 60 min for patients new to the VA.
  4. Patient volume is 12 patients per 8-hour day, two of which are reserved for same day.
  5. Sole provider in clinic setting run by a Medical Director and Clinic Manager remotely.
  6. Clinic is supported by dedicated clinical pharmacist and behavioral health staff remotely.
