Gynecology - Oncology Job at Banner Health in Tucson, AZ

The Division of Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Arizona/ Banner-University Medical Center Tucson is actively recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team.  This is a unique opportunity for an experienced APP to work independently alongside our experienced and dedicated Physicians, making a difference in the lives of the patients you care for. Responsibilities include inpatient rounding, consults, pre/post-op care, and care coordination with residents, RN’s, case manager and other departments. The APP will also follow up on patient care plan.

Position Requirements and Essential Functions

No experience required, our supportive team is willing to train new graduates or APPs with diverse work experience

Paracentesis and wound care experience a plus

Current Board Certification

Current Arizona License

Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS

Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substance

Work Schedule

Full Time (1.0 FTE)

Monday - Friday, no nights, weekends, or call!
