Job Description

Internal Medicine Outpatient Faculty – Northeastern PA (Luzerne & Lackawanna Counties)

The Wright Center for Community Health and its affiliated entity, The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education, are seeking Full-Time Internal Medicine Outpatient Faculty Physicians to join our mission-driven team in Luzerne and Lackawanna Counties.

This is a unique opportunity to combine patient-centered care with academic leadership, mentoring residents within an innovative, community-focused teaching environment.


What You’ll Do

  • Provide 32 hours/week of outpatient care (96 visits)
  • Enjoy 8 hours/week of dedicated admin/precepting time
  • Participate in an on-call rotation of:
    • 1 evening/week
    • 1 weekend/month
    • 1–2 holidays/year

Qualifications

  • MD/DO Degree
  • Graduate Medical Education in an ACGME Accredited Residency Program
  • Current certification or possess qualifications acceptable to the Review Committee
  • Board Certification in Geriatrics
  • DEA Certification
  • Valid physician license for the State of Pennsylvania
  • Current BLS, ACLS
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Experience with electronic health records
