Family Medicine Physician Job at Pennsylvania Association of Community Health Centers in Pittsburgh, PA

1. Deliver primary care to pediatric and adult patients, including prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and chronic disease management.
2. Includes exams, testing, procedures, prescribing, and referrals.
3. Ensure care meets regulatory, accreditation, and clinical quality standards; contribute to policy development and quality improvement efforts (e.g., peer review, PCMH, UDS).
4. Maintain timely, confidential documentation in the EHR; attend required meetings and trainings.
5. Work in person at Northview Heights and/or Middle Street with some virtual visits; includes evenings, weekends, and shared after-hours call.
6. Collaborate effectively with staff and maintain professional conduct; participate in brief daily huddles and be punctual for clinic sessions.
7. Supervise and mentor students and mid-level providers; support patients in meeting care goals within a team-based model.
8. Follow universal precautions; able to meet physical demands; potential exposure to biohazards.
9. Participate in at least 2 hours of community outreach annually.
10. Comfort working with the NSCHC faith-based mission to provide care for all who request it, without judgement.

1. Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
2. Requisite skills and ability to perform medical care.
3. Demonstrate a high level of problem-solving skills to better serve patients and staff.
4. Ability to utilize computers for data entry and information retrieval.

1. M.D. or D.O. from an accredited educational institution; Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Pennsylvania
2. Maintains requisite CME credits for area of specialty
3. Board-certified/Board-eligible
4. Active DEA license and BLS certification required
5. Required clearances: Act 33, 34, 73
6. Annual flu vaccine required; COVID vaccination encouraged
7. Must provide or obtain proof of: PPD, Tdap, Hep B, MMR, and varicella immunity within 14 days of hire
8. Completion of fitness-for-duty self-attestation
