Neonatology postion in community hospital setting in beautiful Green Bay, Wisconsin

Job Description

Children’s Wisconsin (CW) and the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) in partnership with Bellin Health seek board certified / board eligible Neonatology physician to join our expanding Community Neonatology practice to Bellin Health System's NICU in Green Bay, WI. Rank upon appointment will be commensurate with experience.

  1. We are seeking a fifth Neonatologist to join our team of four neonatologists in Green Bay, providing coverage for a state-of-the-art, family-integrated, all private room, 15-bed Level III NICU, as well as high-risk labor and delivery services at Bellin Hospital.
  2. We are comprised of nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to patient care and academic neonatology.
  3. The NICU is staffed 24/7 by Neonatal Nurse practitioners and will integrate with transport system from smaller hospitals and a follow-up clinic. 
  4. Our division currently has 30 neonatologists practicing in one Level IV NICU in Milwaukee, one Level III NICU located in the city of Neenah in the Fox Valley Region and a level III NICU at Bellin, GB of Northeast Wisconsin. Our Division Chief is Dr. G. Ganesh Konduri, Professor of Pediatrics at Medical College of Wisconsin and member of CSG.
  5. The faculty position is employed by the Medical College of Wisconsin and provides care at Children’s Specialty Group-Children’s Wisconsin locations in Northeast Wisconsin. Both organizations are based in the Milwaukee area. The Medical College of Wisconsin pediatric specialty providers who work at the nationally ranked Children’s Wisconsin are members of Children’s Specialty Group, a strong group practice of more than 775 elite pediatric specialty physicians, advanced practice nurses and physician assistants.

This position is located in Northeast Wisconsin as part of an innovative collaboration between Children’s Wisconsin, Bellin Health and ThedaCare. These top-quality health care organizations are partnering to improve the health and well-being of children and adolescents in Northeast Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan through a collaboration called Connected for Kids. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with primary and specialty care providers at these organizations to improve patient outcomes. The connection between the organizations helps position our physicians to successfully support the needs of patients and their families.

A multispecialty pediatric ambulatory clinic with on-site laboratory and radiology services opened in Appleton, Wis. in 2023.

As part of the Connected for Kids partnership, Children’s Wisconsin pediatric specialists have expanded procedural care within Green Bay. Pediatric specialty services will expand within a new pediatric & adolescent specialty clinic in Green Bay, opening in August of 2025. Children’s Wisconsin neonatology specialists will also work in partnership with Bellin Hospital to build a Level III NICU, within an innovative couplet model that provides both maternal and neonatal intensive care.
