UNC Urgent Care at West Rockingham is currently seeking a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA). The provider will be a part of an interdisciplinary team and responsible for treating episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and providing occupational health services and exams.
Ideal Candidate:
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Minimum one year of experience in primary care, urgent care, acute care or emergency room setting required
- NC Licensure or ability to obtain
- Open-minded and flexible to change
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with team members
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
