Hematology and Oncology Job at Moden Medical Group in Sioux Falls, SD

Moden Locums is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematologist Oncologist for a locum tenens assignment in Indiana. This role offers a balance of clinic and inpatient call responsibilities in a well-supported cancer care environment with strong APP backup.

📌 Position Overview:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)

• Rotating weekend call (Friday PM to Monday AM)

• Clinic volume: 18–20 patients/day

• Minimal weekend inpatient rounding (10–12 patients)

• No procedures required

• EPIC EMR system

🗓️ Coverage Dates (flexible block options):

• July through December 2025

• Preference for providers who can cover multiple blocks

🩺 Candidate Requirements:

• Active Indiana license or IMLC eligibility

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency)

• ACLS and BLS (AHA-issued)

• Minimum 2 years of post-residency experience

• Flu vaccination or exemption required

Department Overview:

• 2 Oncologists, 4 Advanced Practice Providers

• APPs manage most hematology cases; physicians focus on oncology

• On-call APP rotation with physician backup
