Job Summary:
Methodist Physician Practices is seeking a pulmonologist with interest in advanced lung disease and lung transplantation to join the developing Methodist Lung Center, San Antonio, TX.Qualified Candidates:
- Board certified or board eligible in pulmonary and critical care medicine
- Experience in all aspects of medical management of advanced lung disease and lung transplant patients, including donor management, management of end-stage lung diseases, ECMO management, and post-transplant longitudinal care
- Clinical focus in Interstitial Lung Disease, Pulmonary Hypertension, interventional pulmonary medicine and clinical research encouraged
- A strong focus on patient-centered care and quality improvement is desired
- Night and weekend call required
- Eligible for an unrestricted medical licensure in Texas required
