Allina Health Cancer Institute (AHCI) is seeking a board-certified Thoracic Surgeon to join our growing practice in the Twin Cities.
Practice Details:
- Our Thoracic Surgery Division is part of the department of Surgical Oncology comprised of Thoracic oncology, Surgical oncology, Urologic oncology and Hepatobiliary divisions. The practice covers all aspects of Thoracic Surgery including benign and malignant conditions of the lungs, mediastinum, pleural space, chest wall.
- The thoracic surgery team consists of 3 thoracic surgeons, 3 PA’s, a clinic RN, a thoracic nurse navigator and a provider coordinator.
- We have over 80 talented and highly qualified providers in AHCI and we continue to grow rapidly.
- Practice calendar includes 2 days in clinic, 2 days in surgery and procedures with 5th day flex for combination of admin time and overflow surgery/procedures.
- Weekly multi-disciplinary tumor board meetings.
Requirements:
- Board certified in thoracic surgery required.
- Prefer 3+ years of experience in Thoracic Surgery, Bronchoscopy, Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS), ION Navigation Bronchoscopy (or willingness to train if no experience), Da Vinci Robotic Surgical Experience or minimum of VATS experience, lung nodule management.
