We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare provider who understands and respects the values of our tribal communities. Together, staff will provide care that meets the needs of the community and offers a meaningful and culturally responsive experience for both patients and their families.

Specialty: Emergency Medicine

Schedule/Hours:

• 7 on/off
• Night Shifts
• 14 shifts per month

Emergency Room Support:

• 4 APPs on day shift
• 3 ED physicians on day shifts
• 1 ED Physician on Night Shift
• 1 APP on shift
• RN and LPN support

Chickasaw Nation - Emergency Department Overview

• Workload: Expect 1.5-2 patients/hour
• Facility: 28 total beds (26 exam rooms, 14 monitored with cardiac monitors, 2 larger trauma rooms)
• Well-staffed with 24/7 bedside ultrasound, CT always available, MRI Mon-Fri only

Support Services:

• In-house: Hospitalists (see all consults), pediatricians, OB/GYN, anesthesia
• Transfers: Cardiology, GI, dialysis (to OKC metro area via Chickasaw’s transport system)
• Behavioral Health: Mon-Fri therapists; weekends/nights use state’s 24/7 service

Shift & Scheduling Details

• Shift Structure: All 12-hour shifts (6p-6a main ER; fast track for rest)
• APP Shifts: 5 total in 24 hours
• Scheduling: Built 6 weeks in advance - Providers can include days off and trade shifts
