Seeking a Trauma Surgeon to practice in Dallas, Texas

Job Description

Requirements:

  1. MD or DO candidates
  2. General Surgery residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program
  3. Fellowship completion in Surgical Critical Care or Trauma required from an accredited program featuring certification in Critical Care
  4. Board certified or board eligible in surgical critical care from the American Board of Surgery required
  5. Active Texas license required
  6. Seeking a candidate who can start immediately.

Position Details:

  1. Employed position with Texas Health Surgical Specialists by Texas Health Physicians Group (THPG), including attractive compensation and benefits package
  2. Join this large, successful, and long-standing practice of physicians and Advance Practice Providers.
  3. Schedule to include trauma surgery coverage; on average, each trauma surgeon works approximately 23 shifts per month covering: ACS – General, ICU, Trauma Day, Backup/ICU Home Call, Trauma Night.
  4. Office on the campus of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, a Level 1 Trauma center with a comprehensive stroke center.
