Pediatric Otolaryngologist Opening, Kaleida Health in Buffalo, NY

John R. Oishei Children's Hospital in Buffalo with Kaleida Health seeks to add a BE/BC Pediatric Otolaryngologist. Oishei is the only Free Standing Children's Hospital in New York State!

Academic if preferred through the University at Buffalo. Kaleida Health has a collaborative relationship with our partner, The University at Buffalo. We work alongside them and their UB Jacobs School of Medicine, UBMD Physician's Group, University Pediatric Associates and University Surgeons. With over 60 Fellowships and Residencies from University at Buffalo training in our Kaleida Health hospitals, your interests in Academic Medicine can be fulfilled.

The Department of Pediatric Otolaryngology at Oishei Children's Hospital, part of Kaleida Health, offers family-centered, pediatric ear, nose and throat services, with specialization in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck from newborns to those 21 years of age. Our hospital is proud to be the Perinatal Transfer Center, and we have 12 floors of care for pediatric patients in the Buffalo area. We seek a Fellowship Trained Pediatric Otolaryngologist for our team to care for our patients.

PACKAGE

  1. Salary: $475,000-$550,000*

  POSITION

  1. Join a group of Ped Otolaryngologists
  2. Academic, if preferred, through the University at Buffalo
  3. Outpatient pediatric practice with surgical and inpatient service
  4. 2 outpatient offices
  5. Call is 1:4
  • Mentorship
  • Collaboration with other specialists: Cranial Facial, Plastics, etc.
  • Great referral base
  • Moving to EPIC EMR

*Base pay rate is not inclusive of productivity and quality incentives that service line specific positions may qualify for in their department. Signing, retention and relocation bonuses may also be available and would also be in addition to base salary compensation. The pay range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant at the time of posting. When determining pay, several factors will be considered, including but not limited to location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, professional credentials, internal equity, and budget.

Qualified Candidates:

  • Fellowship Trained Pediatric Otolaryngologist at ACGME Accredited Program
  • BE/BC in Pediatric Otolaryngology
  • Physician MD/DO licensed in New York or eligible for medical licensure in New York
