WellSpan Health, a sophisticated medical community in south central Pennsylvania, is seeking an experienced Breast Surgeon to provide care to the residents of Adams & Franklin Counties. This is an opportunity to be employed by a mature, well-established medical group of 2,500+ providers. Position details:
- Candidates are required to be board certified/eligible in General Surgery
- Opportunity to lead WellSpan’s NAPBC Accredited Breast Center
- Fellowship training in Breast Surgery preferred.
- High volume of breast pathology.
- Advanced breast imaging capabilities.
- You'll enjoy the support of specialists including medical & radiation oncology & plastic surgery
- The oncology team collaborates with Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center
- The area is experiencing an influx of young families & retirees from major NE cities
- You'll inherit a patient panel from a busy breast surgeon who's retiring.
- Large primary care & OB/GYN referral base will ensure steady practice growth
