As a Supervisory Physician Psychiatrist you will:- Supervisor outlines the general scope of professional services, administrative policies, and provides general professional, administrative and medical direction. - Serve as expert advisor on Army, and MTF behavioral health policies and procedures to successfully achieve functions, missions, and objectives. - Provide consultation, advisory, and liaison services and must be well versed to transition to any area in the population as required. - Participate in quality assurance, and quality improvement studies, utilization review, risk management, and peer review activities. - Perform first level supervisory work; plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, prepare schedules for completion of work. - Direct all aspects of BH clinic and services, promote patient centered services, access to quality care. - Examine and conduct thorough studies of presenting patients and evaluate laboratory and clinical findings, prescribing appropriate treatment or referring patient to appropriate specialty clinics.
