Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is building for the future in their Imaging Institute by adding several services and locations to their network. We are recruiting full-time and part-time Breast Radiologists to join our team located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Job Highlights:
- 100% Breast Imaging position. Hybrid position with another subspecialty will be considered upon request.
- No holiday, evening or pager call requirement.
- AHN facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, a user-friendly PACS system, and an expansive in-house IT department available to help 24/7.
- Robust abbreviated MRI program.
- Multidisciplinary tumor board is scheduled weekly fostering strong collaboration with AHN Breast Surgeons and Oncologists.
- Most biopsies at AHN are performed using HydroMARK clips and most localizations are performed using Magseeds.
- Full time employees are usually given 1-3 remote screening MG/MRI shifts per month depending on vacation requests. These shifts are taken in the comfort of your home.

- Working at multiple breast centers throughout Pittsburgh breaks up the day-to-day monotony, however, regional scheduling bias makes daily commutes more than reasonable.
Job Duties:
- Provide a full range of comprehensive breast imaging services to Allegheny Health Network facilities, including diagnostic and screening mammography with tomosynthesis, breast ultrasonography, and breast MRI and their respective breast biopsies/procedures.
- Participate in 100% remote breast weekend call consisting of screening mammography and breast MRI. A home workstation capable of reading breast imaging is provided at no cost. Frequency is negotiable. Full-time employees average seven weekends per year.
Job Qualifications:
- Meet all requirements of the Mammography Quality Standards Act
- Completion of ACGME approved Radiology Residency
- Completion of ACGME approved Breast Imaging Fellowship
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Radiology
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
- Participation in Maintenance of Certification or eligibility for such is required.
- Actively participate in the training program in terms of clinical and didactic teaching to the residents and medical students.
- Participation in multidisciplinary conferences.
- Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment
