We are currently looking for a Part Time or Full Time Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. We are proud to partner with Dot Foods Family Health Center in Burley, ID.
- 24 to 32 hours per week - dayshift, weekdays
- No weekends, no on-call, and no holidays
- Average provider patients, 10-15 per day

Essential Functions:
- Performs Advanced Primary Care: physical examinations, chronic condition management, patient education, etc. with the support of LPN and MA team members
- Lite occupational health care
- Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’ clinical problems and health care needs.
- Document patient history, physical findings, and formulates diagnosis and plan of care
- Consults with Collaborating Physician and other health professionals as necessary
- Prescribes or recommends medications, lifestyle modifications, or other forms of treatment as required
- Refers patients to specialized health resources for treatment as needed
- Maintains medical records using Epic EMR
- May require other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Idaho RN/ARNP or PA license to practice
- State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable)
- Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)
- Idaho Narcotic/Controlled Substance license
- Current national certification (ANCC or AANP or NCCPA as required)
- Master Degree in Science of Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
- CPR (BLS for the Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer or ACLS-the copy must include the front and back of card as applicable) Certification must include “hands on” evaluation of skills by the trainer/instructor. Total on-line courses will not be accepted. Course must also meet the American Heart Association (AHA) standards but need not be an AHA certificate.
- DOT certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Preferred Experience:
- At least three years of clinical experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated problem-solving and work flow management skills preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.
