Tanner Health is seeking a board certified/board eligible Acute Care General Surgeon to join our hospital employed Carrollton Surgical Group consisting of 7 experienced general surgeons and 4 full-time APPs.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Join one other acute care surgeon to complete this newly designed service line.
- Will provide coverage to primarily inpatient & emergency department consults at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton only, a soon to be 200 bed acute care hospital.
- Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton is equipped with two DV5 Robots as well as outstanding nursing support.
Schedule & Compensation:
- 7 on/7 off schedule
- In-house scheduled hours Monday – Friday 7a – 5p (evening call covered by general surgery team).
- Weekend call begins Friday 5pm – Monday 7am for inpatient & emergency consults at Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton location only.
$500K salary plus full benefits package in addition to a starting & signing incentive, relocation, and so much more!
The ideal candidate will possess following attributes:
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- Unrestricted Georgia physician license, or able to obtain
- Residency trained in General Surgery
- Board certified or eligible in General Surgery
- Competence to perform a full spectrum of routine general surgery procedures and acute care surgery
