We are seeking experienced Area Operations Managers with a clinical background in Radiologic Technology or Sonography to oversee regional field operations in San Francisco and surrounding areas.
Position Overview:
The Area Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading field staff, and ensuring compliance with clinical, administrative, and regulatory standards. This role requires an experienced leader with strong problem-solving skills, the ability to manage high-performing teams, and a solid background in medical imaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage day-to-day field operations in assigned territory
Ensure high-quality patient care delivery and compliance with all safety protocols
Lead, coach, and develop field technologists and support staff
Track productivity, resolve field issues, and manage schedules
Maintain clinical documentation and quality assurance procedures
Collaborate with other departments to support service delivery and operational goals
Ensure equipment, vehicles, and supplies are maintained and operational
Participate in regular leadership meetings and support strategic initiatives
Required Qualifications:
Valid ARRT Certification or relevant sonography credentials
Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience
Minimum 2 years of hands-on fieldwork as a radiologic technologist or sonographer
Minimum 1 year experience using Meditech RAD – Radiology system
Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
COVID-19 vaccination required (or valid exemption documentation)
Preferred Skills:
Proven leadership and team management abilities
Strong understanding of healthcare compliance and operational best practices
Familiarity with mobile imaging services a plus
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to make data-driven decisions and manage performance metrics
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $95,000 – $102,000/year
Possible relocation assistance (to be discussed during interview)
