Inpatient Cardiologist – Staten Island University Hospital

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive inpatient cardiology consultations and management.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with various cardiovascular conditions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research activities.
  • Actively engage in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents.

 

This is a full-time, academic position with vast clinical, research, and teaching opportunities. The ideal candidate will be Board Certified/Eligible in cardiovascular diseases and echocardiography, will have proficiency in TTE and TEE. Nuclear Cardiology certification is a plus.
