Clinical Manager, Advanced Practice Providers - Acute Care (South Central Region)

Job Description

We are seeking a patient-focusedAdvanced Practice Provider to join ourAcute Care Team in theIU Health South Central Region!

The Clinical APP Manager is responsible for the leadership, coordination and oversight of the Advanced Practice Providers within their assign area.

Clinical Manager Duties:

  • Managing day-to-day operations for APPs, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient care delivery
  • Facilitating communication between APPs and collaborating physicians, leadership, and other stakeholders
  • Supporting the recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and retention of APPs
  • Monitoring clinical and operational metrics to support quality improvement and provider productivity
  • Promoting professional development, evidence-based practice, and a culture of excellence
  • Ensuring compliance with medical staff bylaws, regulatory requirements, and institutional policies
  • Representing APPs in organizational committees and initiatives, and serving as a liaison to leadership

Job Description:

  • Full Time, Days
  • 30% Admin, 70% Clinical
  • The Acute Care SL includes: Hospitalist, Emergency Department, Inpatient Psychiatry, Neonatology, Neurohospitalist, Pulmonary Critical Care, Walk-In Clinics

Qualifications:

  • ACNP, AGNP, FNP, NNPor PA certification required
  • 5 years' experiencerequired
  • Candidate can practice in any service line, but preference will be to candidates who are practicing within the acute care line
