Methodist Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Audiologist (Au.D.) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be a licensed and certified professional with a passion for diagnosing, managing, and treating a wide range of auditory and vestibular disorders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic audiological and vestibular evaluations, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, immittance testing, otoacoustic emissions (OAEs), and vestibular assessments (e.g., VNG/ENG)
- Interpret test results to accurately diagnose hearing loss, balance disorders, tinnitus, and auditory processing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Select, fit, and dispense hearing aids and other assistive listening devices, providing ongoing follow-up care and rehabilitation
- Provide aural rehabilitation services, including counseling, communication strategies, and auditory training
- Collaborate with physicians, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care
- Counsel and educate patients and their families on hearing health, communication strategies, and the use of amplification devices
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in an electronic health record (EHR) system
- Stay current on the latest research, technology, and advancements in the field of audiology
- Participate in community outreach and hearing conservation programs
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from an accredited program
- Current and active state licensure as an Audiologist in Texas
- A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or Board Certification from the American Board of Audiology (ABA) is highly preferred
- 2 years of clinical experience in an audiology or Otolaryngology setting is preferred
- Experience with a variety of diagnostic equipment and hearing aid manufacturers
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
