Black Hills Surgical Hospital is seeking a BE/BC Anesthesiologist to join our surgical practice in Rapid City, SD.
- Provide quality care in the delivery of anesthetics and anesthesia services to surgical patients and for all sedation and pain patients undergoing imaging or pain clinic services
- Explain the anesthesia process and plan of treatment to patients
- Efficient and timely provision of pre-operative and post-operative pain management
- Consultation and advice when requested to physicians, dentists, and Hospital staff regarding the patient’s condition, method of anesthesia, and risk involved during anesthesia
- Efficient and timely pre-operative evaluations of patients including review of patient’s history, physical condition, and medical records when in pre-op and for RCC “in-house” patients prior to surgery
- Practice set up: running with 2 MDA’s per day
- Schedule:
- Rotate shifts accordingly
- AM 0600 – 1400
- PM 1200 – 2000 or end of OR day.
- Call is 1:4
- Supervision model – CRNA’s handle OR
