Electrophysiology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner | New Mexico Heart Institute

Job Description

Lovelace Medical Group and the New Mexico Heart Institute are seeking an experienced ACNP or Physician Assistant with a background in Electrophysiology (EP) to join our well-established, patient-centered cardiology team in Albuquerque, NM.

Position Highlights

  • Full-time, outpatient-only role with no call or weekend requirements
  • Collaborate closely with electrophysiologists to manage patients with arrhythmias and other EP-related conditions
  • Provide follow-up care, patient education, and medication management
  • Access to advanced on-site diagnostics including echo, vascular, CT, and nuclear imaging
  • Be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team that values APPs as integral providers

Qualifications

  • Licensed ACNP or PA with prescriptive authority in New Mexico
  • DEA license required
  • Minimum 1–2 years of cardiology or EP experience preferred
