Occupational Medicine Job at Marshfield Clinic in Iron Mountain, MI

Marshfield Medical Center – Dickinson is seeking an Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Iron Mountain, Michigan. The Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant, will be a skilled member of the health team who will provide medical and educational services to patients in collaboration with a licensed physician.

This role is a 100% Occupational Health department. Requires Worker's Compensation injuries, acute injuries, and causation determination.

This role may be flexible to be a .8fte or 1.0fte.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Minimum Required: Master’s Degree in Nursing/Physician Assistant

EXPERIENCE

Preferred/Optional: One to three years of nursing experience in specialty.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.

Minimum Required: Current Applicable State Nurse License or Nurse Compact License, and Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Licensure. Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire. Additional department-specific certifications, licenses, or memberships may be required (varies by department/location).

Preferred/Optional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
