Position Highlights:
- Schedule: As needed to cover for absences due to illness and vacation, staffing shortages, or busy periods
- 100% inpatient
- Call (phone-only) include ED/inpatients
This experienced candidatewill provide in-house clinicalcare for patients with Dementia, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Migraines and Parkinson's Disease. Candidate will interact closely with Emergency Department, inpatient providers and staff seeking a Neurology consult for new or established Neurology service patients. This candidate will answer questions regarding potential differential diagnoses, determine testing needs and interventions/treatments as well as follow results and provide patient education.
Qualifications:
- Educational background consistent with requirements for NP/PA licensure and certification in the state of Indiana, required
- Neurology, Neurosurgery, ICU/CCUexperience preferred
