The James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital (JAHVH) in Tampa, Florida is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals providing exceptional care to our nation’s veterans.

🏥 Position Highlights:

• Provide comprehensive consultative and procedural Gastroenterology services

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, and capsule endoscopy

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team within a large, academic-affiliated VA hospital

• Involvement in teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows (if academic appointment is pursued)

• Opportunities for research and academic advancement through University of South Florida (USF) affiliation

💼 Job Details:

• Full-time, permanent federal position

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (no overnight call)

✅ Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship (required)

• M.D. or D.O. with completion of ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
