  AP/CP Board Certified/Eligible Surgical Pathologist

GREATER CINCINNATI REGION (USA). St. Elizabeth Healthcare (SEH) is seeking two full-time surgical pathologists to add to our expanding healthcare system. St. Elizabeth Healthcare is a Catholic healthcare ministry with six hospital facilities and 165 St. Elizabeth Physicians specialty and primary care offices throughout Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana. We have a collegial group of eleven pathologists with diverse training, expertise, and experience and good work-life balance.

• AP/CP board certified or eligible.
• Eligible for medical licenses in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and State of Indiana.
• Open to upcoming graduates and experienced candidates with any AP fellowship training. We are especially interested in GYN, GI, heme, cyto, and general surgical pathology, but all are encouraged to apply.
• General surgical pathology sign-out.
• Heme and cyto are signed-out only by those with a fellowship in those areas.
• No autopsy, no transplant pathology, no medical kidney, no neuropathology, no grossing, no medical directorship requirement.
• Minimal CP work, as one of the pathologists has only CP responsibilities.

  The anatomic pathology department at St. Elizabeth Healthcare processes approximately 36,000 surgical pathology cases,19,000 gynecologic cytology and 3,300 non-gyn cytology cases annually. SEH employs four full-time ASCP certified pathologists’ assistants and four ASCP certified cytotechnologists. Weekend and night call coverage is divided among all pathologists.
