We are currently seeking a full-time nocturnist EM physician, with part-time and PRN opportunities also available. Emergency Department Overview

• Hospital beds: 160
• 22 private ED beds
• 3 dedicated behavioral health crisis intervention rooms
• Brand new Emergency Psychiatric Assessment, Treatment and Healing(EmPATH) unit
• Annual ED volume: 35,000
• Coverage: 36 hours of EM physician coverage daily (9 and 10-hour shifts)
• 20 hours of EM APCcoverage daily
• Teaching responsibilities for medical students, PA students, and internal medicine residents
• Collaborative hospitalist program
• EMR: Meditech Expanse with Ambient AI scribe and Dragon
• Griffin ED was awarded Department of the Year for 2025

Qualifications

• Board certified/board eligible ABEM or AOBEM (within five years of residency)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Collaborative approach with a strong focus on patient-centered care
• Now accepting full-time nocturnist, part-time, and PRN applications
