Chief of Psychiatry Key Responsibilities (Supervisory position):
- Typical shift M-F, 8:00am-4:30pm; Night, Weekend, Holiday call by rotation
- Some travel is required to our Community Based Outpatient Clinics
- Evaluate and manage patients admitted to mental health inpatient service, and outpatient clinics, including performing history and physical examinations.
- Provide coverage to evaluate and manage mental health veterans in the local area Emergency Department, and consultation liaison service as needed.
- Write prescriptions including controlled medications, order appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
- Provides patient education of medical/mental health conditions, preventive measures and prescribed treatments.
- Relocation/recruitment incentives may be approved for highly qualified candidates

- Competitive Salary: $275,000 - $350,000

Preferred Experience:
- Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Supervisory experience required
- Must be a U.S. Citizen. Non-Citizen candidates will be considered if a U.S. Citizen is not found
- Current full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.
