Job Description

Mount Nittany Physician Group is a physician led, professionally managed multi-specialty group.  All physicians in the group are employed.  The Pulmonary Medicine Division is seeking a full-time BC/BE Pulmonologist to join the Division to augment the staff.  Division provides comprehensive pulmonary care for patients referred to the health system, including critical care, sleep, allergy immunology, interventional pulmonary medicine, and general pulmonary medicine. Four BC physicians are in the division and one pulmonologist is also boarded in Sleep and another in Allergy / Immunology.  Interventional training, including EBUS would be desirable but not required.  Inpatients will be seen at Mount Nittany Medical Center, a 260 bed not-for-profit community hospital located in State College, Pennsylvania.

  • Call for pulmonary consultation every 4th weekend (24 hr hospitalist coverage).
  • Outpatient and inpatient care, practice critical care optional

  • Interventional pulmonary procedures including electromagnetic bronchoscopy, bronchial thermoplasty, routine bronchoscopy on site

The Mount Nittany Emergency Department sees approximately 50,000 patients annually. Other specialized services include Electroencephalography (EEG), Positron Emission Tomography (PET), and Computed Tomography (CT).
