Blessing Health System - multi-hospital, multi-physician group needs another dermatologist.

Compensation$600K plus productivity incentive bonus plan.  A $150K forgivable loan for educational debt will be considered.  $50K Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance will be included.

SituationBlessing Health System is a not-for-profit system and is the largest medical provider serving a 300,000 population region composed of West Central Illinois, Northeast Missouri, and Southeast Iowa.  The System operates Blessing Hospital, a 347-bed regional referral center in Quincy, Illinois, (population 50,000) and Illini Community Hospital, a 25-bed critical access facility in Pittsfield, Illinois, (population 4,200).  The group seeks to add a Dermatologist, due to the obvious community need in this specialty, to join a Mohs trained dermatologist based in Quincy, Illinois and a general dermatologist based in Hannibal, Missouri.  Office call only.  The right physician will enjoy strong community support and referrals from more than two dozen primary care providers in this group.    Board Certification is an expectation of all our physicians (BE if recently out of training).  Blessing has been named by Modern Healthcare as one of the “100 Best Places to Work in Healthcare”, and it ranks among the Nation’s top eight percent “Most Wired” hospitals.

Quincy, Illinois is a family-friendly community offering many big city amenities.  We have Amtrak train service to/from Chicago or drive 1.5 hours to St. Louis, Missouri or Springfield, Illinois. New public schools have recently been built thanks to a $89 million bond referendum and there is also a robust parochial school system.
