The Stroke team at Advocate Christ Medical Center is actively recruiting physicians for expansion of our dedicated Stroke service.   

You will join our physicians in providing the highest level of neurological care. Advocate Christ Medical Center is part of the Advocate Health System and is located in Oak Lawn, a southwestern suburb of Chicago.  Advocate Christ Medical Center is a 788-bed, premier teaching institution with a dedicated Neuro ICU.  With more than 1,500 affiliated physicians, we are one of the major referral hospitals in the Midwest for a number of specialties, including cancer care; cardiovascular services; heart, kidney and lung transplantation; neurosciences; orthopedics; and women s health.    

As part of our team you will:

• Provide dedicated inpatient stroke coverage
• Participate in telestroke coverage
• Provide out patient follow up in our stroke clinic
• Work with stroke trained nurses and Advanced Practice Providers
• Participate in cutting edge stroke related clinical trials
• Provide stroke education and teaching to rotating medical students and residents

Requirement:  All candidates must be BE/BC in General Neurology and BC in Vascular Neurology. Additionally, physicians will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of fellow neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuropsychologists, and neuroradiologists to provide cutting edge neurological care in both an inpatient and outpatient setting.
