GI Associates is the largest gastroenterology group in Mississippi and is one of the largest in the southeast. All of our physicians are board certified in Gastroenterology, having accumulated at least six years of training after medical school. The physicians who make up GI Associates have been trained all over the United States and this diversity allows our physicians quick access to multiple sources of expertise, high level consultations and opinions without having to leave central Mississippi.

Vicksburg is a historic city in Warren County, Mississippi, United States. It is the county seat. The population was 21,573 at the 2020 Census. Located on a high bluff on the east bank of the Mississippi River across from Louisiana, Vicksburg was built by French colonists in 1719. Vicksburg is located at the confluence of the Mississippi and Yazoo Rivers. Much of the city is on top of a high bluff on the east bank of the Mississippi River.

The nearest airport with commercial flights is Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport, 53.2 miles to the east of Vicksburg. Rail service options include KCS's Meridian Speedway between Dallas, TX and Atlanta, GA + Vicksburg Southern Railroad (VSO) by Watco Companies.
