  OB Hospitalist | Farmville 

Introduction to the Role and Practice:

Centra Medical Group) is currently seeking an OB Hospitalist to join our collaborative practice, which includes physicians, nurse practitioners, and certified nurse midwives (CNMs). This position will be for our Farmville location, providing comprehensive care in a supportive and state-of-the-art environment with a focus on patient care and provider satisfaction. You Can Expect:

• This is a CALL ONLY OB Hospitalist position
• Provide OBGYN care in a collaborative practice with physicians, nurse practitioners, and nurse midwives.
• Participate in shared call coverage, with triage and inpatient obstetrics primarily handled by experienced CNMs.
• Southside Community Hospital:
• Newly renovated, spacious clinic with in-house ultrasound and lab facilities.
• Located one floor below labor and delivery and the operating room.
• Level II NICU with a neonatal transport team available within a 1-hour drive.
• In-house anesthesia providers and pediatricians are available for births
• daVinci Surgical System available

Required Qualifications

• Completion of medical degree and residency/fellowship training in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• MD/DO with certification by an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) board in physician's primary specialty. Must be board certified or in the process of certifying.
