Surgical Critical Care Job at Kootenai Health in Coeur d'Alene, ID

Who we are looking for:

Kootenai Health is seeking board eligible/certified General Surgeon, preferred fellowship trained and board eligible/certified in Surgical Critical Care, to practice at our regional referral center hospital located in beautiful Coeur d Alene, Idaho. 

Ideal candidates will have a strong focus on quality, safety, teamwork and patient satisfaction and be expected to support and expand the emergency general surgery, trauma surgery and surgical critical care programs; working with a team of 10 dedicated general surgeons and 5 APPs.   

What you can expect:

• Full-time Surgicalist with 168 shifts per year, covering the trauma and acute care surgery service and follow-up clinic with after-hours night call of 6 nights per month.

• 24/7 hospitalists and intensivist coverage in addition to full medical and surgical specialty backup
