Jefferson Einstein is seeking to add 2 Neurologists with any  fellowship training to its  busy urban practice setting  in North Philadelphia, PA. The division has an ACGME – accredited residency program to complement the practice and provide academic opportunities for its attendings. 

Einstein Philadelphia is one of the largest independent academic medical center in Philadelphia and trains more than 450 residents in 32 accredited programs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• MD or DO From an Accredited Program - Required
• Completion of an Accredited Neurology Residency - Required
• Fellowship - Movement Disorders - Optimal
• Fellowship - Other - Supported
• Desire to Teach - Required
• Appropriate Licenses and Certifications - Required

THE POSITION

• Call 1:5 (1 Week on 4 Weeks off)
• Practice is 90% Clinical
• Extremely Supportive Office Staff
• 40/20 New/Established Patient Encounter Times
• 60/30 For Sub-Specialty Clinics
• 10-14 PPD
• Salary + RVU Model
• Proficient in All Aspects of General Neurology
• First Year Caseload is 40% of Specialty Interest. 2nd Year Caseload Increases to 80% of Specialty Interest
• PA for Hospital Coverage, NP for Office Coverage
• Comprehensive Stroke Center
• Separate Neuro Hospitalist Program Covers All Stroke Related Admissions (You Don't Cover Stroke Call)
• Department Has 13  Neurologists
• Teach - Neurology  Residency (9  Residents)
