Charleston Area Medical Center is recruiting highly trained, well-published, academic-oriented physicians to teach, conduct research and practice first-rate Hematology-Oncology at Charleston Area Medical Center, a 1,013-bed regional referral center. Our Hematology Oncology fellowship started in July 2024.
The CAMC Cancer Center is accredited by the Association of Community Cancer Centers and the American College of Surgeons and offers a full range of multi-specialty physician support as well as excellent radiation therapy, radiology, general pathology/hematopathology to complement our high quality of care.
The successful candidate must be BC/BE in hematology-oncology with the ability to obtain an active and unencumbered West Virginia Medical license, DEA, and staff privileges at Charleston Area Medical Center.
An experienced nursing and pharmacy staff is set up to assist you with quality of care as well as productivity. The medical center has the highest level of information technology, giving you electronic access to your patient's information with the ability to access it from home. A full range of multi-specialty physician support exists including APPs, on-site Oncology PharmD and physician scribes. Patients are admitted to a 29-bed, inpatient oncology unit. There is a current new patient wait list of 23 days.
The CAMC Cancer Center has state-of-the-art infusion suites and a pharmacological center that is set up to benefit the oncologists.
