Emily Whitehouse

Hello! My name's Emily and I am a Physician Recruiter for the University of Rochester Medical Faculty Group, responsible for recruiting physicians and advanced practice providers for the University of Rochester Medical Center, its affiliated hospital network, and numerous affiliated practices and expansion sites throughout the Upstate NY region. My background in Athletic Training and Healthcare Management gives me a unique perspective on provider recruitment, and I consider myself very fortunate to have a career that so perfectly blends my educational and professional interests!

I have called Upstate NY home for more than 25 years, and I am passionate about the incredible lifestyle we enjoy here in the heart of NYS: year-round outdoor activity in the pristine Finger Lakes area, lovely farmers markets, excellent wineries and craft breweries, thriving arts culture, gorgeous hiking trails, family-friendly seasonal festivals - just to name a few of my favorite pastimes! I love local tourism, trying new restaurants, acrylic and watercolor painting, and spending time w/ my husband Tom, my two sons, Akiva and Luka, and our Golden Retriever, Nola.
