As the Director of Physician Talent Management at WVU Medicine, I lead teams in physician and advanced practice recruitment and onboarding. With 19+ years in physician support services in markets across the Pacific NW and the Midwest, and another 15+ years in legal, fundraising, and healthcare compliance, I excel in recruitment, strategy, physician contracting, and workforce planning. Known for leadership, dependability, communication, and a strong work ethic, I drive operational excellence for WVU Medicine's physician and advanced practice talent management team across our 25 hospitals and system medical group, to achieve our organizational goals.
I am deeply committed and passionate about helping physicians develop their careers and find practice opportunities, communities, and a work-life balance that meets their personal and professional goals. I strive to understand each physician's unique aspirations and needs, and work tirelessly to match them with the right opportunities that align with their values and priorities. My goal is to create a supportive and nurturing environment where physicians can thrive both professionally and personally.
Passionate about all facets of health equity and health care service delivery, I strive to contribute positively to a culture of collaboration while advancing WVU Medicine's mission. Having lived in numerous places across the US and Europe throughout my lifetime, I have gained a broad perspective that enhances my ability to embrace and thrive in complex, multicultural environments, and has led to my love of photography, travel, hiking, skiing, and painting. These hobbies not only rejuvenate my spirit but also instill creativity and resilience in my professional endeavors.
