It wasn’t until after college that I discovered what I wanted to do with my life. (Which I wouldn’t recommend.) I had heard, “If you love what you do, then it won’t seem like you’re going to work every day.” Two degrees (a bachelors and a masters in accounting) and a couple of accounting jobs later, I was still wondering what I wanted to do with my career. But after “accidentally” landing a fantastic job that gave me the ability to meet amazing new people that could potentially help my community, talk about my community and why it is so great to live here and explore new ways to help with practice efficiency, I had the epiphany: I love this stuff! And I’m pretty good at it. My career-life was forever changed.

 The way a health system interacts with its providers is crucial to both the success of the organization, and the providers. It’s a passion of mine to make sure that each of our providers feel they have a unique “voice” and are part of a fully functional and interactive team.
